Baby Lucy

Baby Lucy... once you see her, she will have you wrapped around her little finger!  Lucy is a very sweet, beautiful and blessed little lady!  Some children come into this world in need of new parents who will love them. This darling little girl is where she is meant to be!  Adoption can be an amazing blessing....just look at that smile!!

The Green Family

"We've been practicing smiling for pictures all week!"  Mom sure got these adorable kids to smile for me.... every single time!!!  The Greens' are an incredible family.  I'm so happy I was able to photograph them!  Life with 4 kids (one set of darling twin girls) sounds like a busy life....... I think Mom and Dad are looking great! 

The Hatfield Family

Fall is usually such an amazing time in the canyons here in Utah!  It's always a great place to have family photos done!  Well, this year mother nature wasn't so kind in the color department.  My four year old says the "fall fairy" did not do her job!  Despite the lack of color, and a bit of a blunder on my part, we got some new photos for this great family!  Poor dad is a bit out numbered, but I don't think he'd change that for anything.

A New Year; new beginning

My daughter recently turned 9.  She is remarkable, beautiful, kind, caring.... I could go on forever!  She is always so good to let me photograph her, even if she really doesn't want to do it.  As parents, we want our children to be happy, to love, be loved.... and to love themselves!!  For the past four months, this lovely lady has been down in the dumps. She felt she had no self worth, no talent, that she was ugly, fat... you get the idea.  Breaks my heart.  I worry for our children who live in this society of photoshop and size 2 models. None of us can measure up to that! 

 So.... I was on a mission.  I wanted my girl to see what I see!  I let her choose where she wanted to have her pictures done.  She chose Utah Lake.   Unfortunately, we were about 15 minutes late getting there, so the sun was pretty much gone! (face palm).  We stuck around ... I mean, the girl got all dolled up, so we couldn't just leave.  She had fun, wind and all!

Reveal day..... would she like her photos?  To my surprise, she LOVED them!!  She even said she looks really pretty!  OF COURSE YOU DO, AVA!!!  (sigh)  now...to keep those thoughts in her darling little head.
